Hey my sleepy ones!

Here is this week's bedtime story.

Confession time: I did intend to read Treasure Island but I tried to read the first chapter and.. I just kept tripping up on my sentences. It is written in such an Old English kind of way and I couldn't read it to a high enough standard that I was happy to give you.

Until I find a readable copy of Treasure Island, or you tell me you're happy continuing with this book/would prefer something different, here is the first part of 'The Crystal Egg', taken from H. G. Well's 'Tales of Space and Time'. You just let me know what you want because these stories are all for you.
