I do think you are misunderstanding Octavia a little bit. It's not taht she hates that's she is no longer in control. She provoked them and wanted them to kill her because she hates herself. Which she should because she's done some fucked up shit.

Clarke definitely isn't my favorite, but she's also been forced to make hard decisions over and over. Octavia however..ngl she did need that. It was fun to watch everyone lose it this episode, and Diyoza being badass.
