The story is being told from Stefan's perspective, so right now it is extremely one-sided. Admittedly Damon does some shitty things during these first few episodes, but he has his reasons (which will be revealed), although they aren't a good enough excuse. Episode 6 is one of the better early episodes (the show picks up after episode 10). Loving your reactions so far. Looking forward to more.
