New questions for Q&A!

Hey everyone!

I think it's time for another Q&A! I'll probably want to record it later this week, so please leave any questions you have in the comments below!

Depends on today’s Catholic. I would be right at home with the Church of 1021.

How different are beliefs of a modern believer from a believer 1000 years ago? Let's imagine a Muslim from today's Medina and from Medina around year 1000CE may meet. Would they acknowledge each other as Muslims or they would rather classify each other as non-believers or heretics? Same question about Christianity: would a Catholic from 1000CE consider from, say, Rome, consider todays Catholic from the same city as a person with the same faith? I understand that not everyone believes in God in the same way, so some simplification is needed.

What kind of influence did the virtue and piety of Muslim "knights" have on the development of the chivalric ethos in medieval Latin Christendom? Do you agree with those scholars who claim that the influence was substantial?

Have you come across the work of Henry Corbin? And would you be willing to make a video about the themes he covered and the perrenial philosophy aspects?

Could you expand upon the history of the Kaaba that you presented in your video, "Religion in Pre-Islamic Arabia"? And add more details about the history of the Hajj. You gave some tantalizing hints about Pre-Islamic pilgrimages...

1 - What is the most complex religious belief you have come across and what is the simplest ( assuming you would entertain this reductive binary approach :P ) 2 - Given that certain mystical practices (e.g. Sufism) attempt to express ideas that are inexpressible within the limitations of language, and therefore resort to the use of elliptical meanings encompassed in metaphors and poetry, how transmissible are these ideas when people will inevitably interpret the metaphors and poetry differently? - I realise this is a horribly complex sentence - sorry about that.

2. Do you practice any kind of spiritual ritual?

1. Do you think Shariah/ Exoteric Law should be broken (like a shell) in order to access the Gnosis/Haqiqat (like the fruit inside the shell) ?

1. Do you measure how much time you invest in every video you make in summary? If yes, how long does it take in average to prepare for a video and how much to record it? 2. Is it possible for you to create a schedule, so we know what topic is coming out when? Or does a schedule narrow down or kill your inspiration?
