BIP - November

Hello, everyone!

Today is the last day of the month, and so the Build-in-Progress is here. This month, I managed to write 42,000 new words on Chapter Three, bringing its total word count to 58,000. Everyone should now have a version of the Iasion scene, with or without Demeter, unless of course you opted to not see him at all. The RO scenes are not written yet, except for those of you who have already indicated interest in the poly with Hermes and Hekate—that scene is fully outlined and partially written.

As promised, I've made two versions, so you can pick the one that tends to be least buggy for you (and try the other if it doesn't work). Just a reminder—if something's going wrong with your saves, I'm not the person who can fix that, as those and similar issues are related to the hosting site, and not to my code.

Continuity errors, typos, and weird flow, however, are almost certainly my bad, and I'd love to hear about any of that.

I hope you enjoy!

I'm so delighted to hear that! And yes, if you continue down the path of reconciling the family, there will certainly be chances for the ROs to interact with them, too, in some cases more awkwardly than others. :)

Gosh, I *LOVED* this. I only tried one set of choices right now with my primary Persephone (bit quiet, bit awkward, strained relationship with Demeter and cautiously hopeful about Iasion), and it was just so-- absolutely perfectly the vibes I would have anticipated and wanted. I went with going along with Demeter to see him, and there was just such a perfect blend of like-- awkward family reunion mixed with really sweet lovely moments? Loved all the little sort of 'nods' to the ways PC and Iasion similarly suffered from Demeter's brand of love, loved how he's such a charming opposite to her with his humor and his open-mindedness, loved the chance to get a hug. I just really enjoyed the bittersweetness of their whole conversation. That tragedy of the 'could have beens' and regrets too late in realizing. And am also like, lowkey looking forward hopefully to the possibility of an incredibly hilariously awkward "meet the parents" moment for the ROs, given the contrasting vibes of PC's parents. (something something, I feel like usually it's the father's role to make some sort of ominous warning to treat their child right or be sent to the Underworld, but given we're already here and you're a deity, something something.)
