I have heard of the man cold research (that was obviously researched by men) and if I'm remembering correctly, the main reasoning behind the "theory" of the cold symptoms being worse for men than they are for women (besides they're big babies😅), is mainly due to size. Men are generally bigger, therefore their organs are bigger, therefore their bodies create worse/bigger symptoms! I can't remember where I heard/read that, but I remember laughing so hard when I did! I love you guys! Lauren, I relate with you in so many ways! I love how down to earth and compassionate you are! Dr. John, I wish I could bend your ear and possibly get a correct diagnosis for myself. I know you would be able to! I have been to many therapists and tell them my life story and they either try to over meditate me or refer me to someone more experienced.. You guys have taught me so much already! Listening to you guys is like going to school, but studying something I am interested in!! 💜

I could see that skewing some numbers, men’s 10 vs women’s 10… sorry fellas, our pain tolerance has to be higher than yours. Even monthly cramps are really painful, and we have to pretend we’re not menstruating. That said, summer colds suck, feel better soon, Dr. John!!!
