Dr John! You are so right! Just now we see a movement i Sweden, starting to acknowledge the mental health issues that challenge active sportsmen/women. Not just focus of their goals, their diets and their bodies but also on their "souls" Too many take their own lifes, or become addicts as the result of the lack of confronting their dark feelings.

I watch zero real sports but every single one of these untold docs gets me!!! Malice at the Palace features Metta World Peace formerly Ron Artest, being very vulnerable about his mental health and his shame and regret about the havoc and hurt feelings that his mental illness may have left in its wake. The story is wild.

2025-05-30 15:33:46 +0000 UTCI had mixed feelings on Carl as well. I could NEVER sit on a jury, I’m too judgmental! But (as i believe I’ve said before, earlier, Carl opened himself up for criticism when he approached Lauren. )

2025-05-19 19:09:45 +0000 UTCHe shouldn’t be getting such hate. However, he did open himself up for it by being so open. But I wouldn’t have been so open in my disrespect for the man.

2025-05-12 17:43:54 +0000 UTCDr. John seems to be saying what my impression of Juror Carl has been. He’s very literal and concrete in his thinking. Having adult children with high functioning autism, he reminds me of a senior version of one of my children, my male child in particular. I believe he just wants to be sure he was considering the evidence and not succumbing to groupthink processes. I feel badly that some people have been so nasty and harsh towards this man who didn’t ask for this kind of attention. He did a good thing for the state of Arizona, the county of Maricopa and the community of Chandler. He helped to bring justice for Charles Vallow and his surviving family members. God bless Carl and all of the jurors who served on that trial. 🩵💜⚾️🧢🦆
