Hey there, smut believers!
We have hit an important milestone last month, but with all the wildfires going on in my country, and how it affected my health I wasn't really in conditions to celebrate it properly.
September 19th marked the completion of my 10th year at Patreon.
Even though I started making my naughty stories back in 2013, it wasn't until I established myself at Patreon that things really gained traction and I've begun releasing comics in a steadier pace.
Now, despite some delays here and there, I did release and deliver more than 200 stories since then, so I'm pretty proud of myself for that.
But I couldn't have possibly done any of that without my patrons (both present and former).
As mentioned, I didn't have the time (or sanity) to do anything special to celebrate the date, but my friend Aaron went on to make sure we made an occasion out of it.
Here's his notes about it:
I wanted to make a "real" artistic contribution to the Tracyverse, seeing as how I'm not an artist. I also thought it was a neat use of tech, and a quasi-homage to Amazing Spider-Man #700.
As I originally conceived it, it was a "celebration" of the 10th anniversary of the Patreon — a look back from the beginning to today, with everything represented that made it possible. I wanted to honor the Tracyverse by focusing on the story aspect; that's what sets the whole endeavor apart from Rule 34 pinups.
To that end, I humbly present this. It should be pretty obvious what's going on, but — just in case — it's a mosaic of the cover of the "kinda-first" Tracyverse comic, made up of all the free preview pages.
The result is quite large, not really suitable for those on phones or other tiny-screen devices. I did take great pains to try to make (much of) it as readable as possible, when zoomed in. And, as a fan, I think there's a delight in kind of getting to re-experience this stuff; seeing certain pages (while zoomed in) in a different context made me go, "Oh, what's that page from?" or "I'd forgotten that moment" or "Wow, that was a great issue; I should track it down again!"
Also, as a collector and archivist of sorts, I think it's also interesting because the Tracyverse is a really big endeavor for one creator to do, in this fashion, for as long as it has been happening. "234 issues" means one thing when it's tiny thumbnails at the back of an issue, but it means something else when you consider it as, say, "40 more issues than Amazing Spider-Man #1 (1963) to Black Cat's first appearance in ASM #194 (1979)." But mostly I'm a sucker for "anniversary celebrations."
We don't get many "Mind-Blowing 200th Issue!"-type events, so this was the next best thing I could think of that felt celebratory, was within my capabilities, and looked to both the past, the future, and everything in between.
The 1.3GB file attached below has a bunch of different larger versions, so depending on your device, you can still zoom in and check the details on this gigantic mosaic. The largest version however (which has a res of almost 64K resolution) has the dialogue text readable in the individual pages of the whole.
Thank you so much for making these comics possible!
And here's to 10 years more (at least!)
Kindly and thankful,
-Tracy.
