Rebooting Patreon, starting this evening!

Hi, there, my friends! I have a little announcement about my Patreon! I’m going to reboot it from the ground up, with simplicity as my primary goal. For right now, there will only be one, primary tier.

For 2 Dollars, you get an all access pass to everything I’m working on, especially art, adoptables, and the process I’m starting to learn and use in Blender 3.3.

Art:

- All finished works (comics, single images, sequences, etc.) in HD.

- Sneak peek at my art and comics pipeline, from Blender to Photoshop.

- Occasional posts and tutorials about Blender.

Works in Progress:

- I’ll show WIPs of basically everything I’m working on, including 3D models, comics, adoptables, and commissions. I only used to post finished pieces, so I hope this will bump up what you get to see.

- Sneak peek at my adoptable pipeline, from Blender to Photoshop.

- 2D AND 3D WIPs.

- Early access to monthly adoptables.

All tiers will enjoy the same benefits, although there will be other tiers for those who might wish to donate more. The more money I can make, the less I need to rely on adopts, and the more time I have to focus on comics and standalone pieces (although I have no intention of quitting adopts entirely; they’re way too much fun!).

So if you’re a current patron, please feel free to downshift your membership to my new tier! My new workflow should also guarantee much more content while I fundamentally share my process as I learn Blender 3.3 and use it to recreate my entire style in 3D. I’m extremely excited.

Special message for my current, former, and longtime patrons and friends:

Every time I think I’ve kicked my psychiatric problems, they seem to come roaring back, sometimes worse than before. I grow weary of those long journals where I try to explain it. I feel like I’m just bitching and making excuses, and I don’t want to give that impression. I’ll just leave it at this. I’m going through several things that I haven’t made public that I’m also not ready to talk about it. For some reason, things just got really bad for me around 2020 and just never stopped getting worse. I tried to pretend things were okay, but they’re not. I haven’t cried this much in my entire life, and I’m actually amazed that it’s possible. A lot of us are really struggling right now, aren’t we? Boy, well, one foot in front of the other.

Anyway, thank you for being patient with me. The advantage of my new work flow is that I can easily continue getting work done in spite of what’s happening around me. So, never fear, the art WILL happen. If it’s the one thing I’m able to fix in my life, I’m gonna fix it.

All people that have been my patrons for a long time will be getting free art. I must finish a slate of my other current projects first, along with my monthly adopts, but once all that’s done and I’ve had a breather, I’m going to be carving out time to do something personal for as many of you as you’d like. You have all helped me so much through some very dark times, and I feel terrible that I have not shown you anything for it.
