They met playing varsity football in high-school. Jacob was the team quarterback, and Andrew, amusingly, was one of the team's tight-ends.
Since they were the only two gay students in their Texas high school, they started dating. But by the time Jacob joined the US Army, they realized they were better suited as friends, best friends. I truly love this couple, these characters, and this little peek into their past. ;>
