Something I've noticed that's crystal clear on this page is the fact that Hake hasn't told the others to leave. I was already shocked that Gull was still allowed to hover around after all the previous bullshit, but everything really is a public event in the Family, isn't it? He's asking Tusk something deeply important, seemingly unaware that there are pairs and pairs of angry eyes leering at her over his shoulder. He doesn't even question it. What one cat knows, the whole Family knows. There IS no privacy.
