I feel like Tusk is going to quietly abscond from the Family once she's finally left alone so she can go bury her kit on her own terms. It'd be hard to sneak out with cats everywhere, but likely not impossible.

2024-02-03 21:54:06 +0000 UTCcommenting again but iβm wondering how differently this may have turned out if gull never got involved, because hake himself was going to get permission from the tide. if he had spoken with trout privately she might have been able to fulfil tuskβs request without pressure from the family. but then gull had to go make a scene and now everyone knows about tuskβs situation that shouldnβt have been anyoneβs business, and they are all expecting trout to do the βright thingβ by the tide, which ended up influencing her decision. wonβt surprise me if that had been gullβs intention all along.
