I know it’s been a long wait, and I really appreciate your patience! The big project is coming along well. It’s grown in scope more than I originally planned (as these things tend to do with me xD), but I’m doing my best to keep it and myself under control, haha 😅
Along the way, I’ve been working on a smaller side project to experiment with character interactions and test out ideas. What started as a simple test ended up evolving into something I wanted to polish and share with you as a new animation!
Right now, I’m wrapping up the final render and working on sound design. After that, it just needs some quick edits, and then it’ll be ready for you!
In the meantime, here are some behind-the-scenes shots and previews, I hope you enjoy it!
I've added a little description to the WIP shots so you know what I'm working on.
1. Initially I wanted to create an internal shot of someone getting pushed deep into a huge ass. My first tests involved a simple capsule, but I couldn't NOT add a thick butt :angel:
2. Of course an ass like that needs some wobbly physics! But it's not a simple task figuring out just how wobbly such an ass should be... A long time was spent trying to judge that part, and I hope you'll like the results I ended up with!
3. I found a Blender plugin called "TinyEye" and used it to create some new eyes! I don't work in Blender, but I use it for some of its amazing community plugins from time to time. My former eyes were hand painted, which worked from a distance. But up close you could see the paint strokes which didn't really look good to me.
4. Creating fur for my fox character, Jay! It's hard striking the right balance between giving him bright, shiny, vibrant colors and still preserving some depths and shadows in the fur. I ended up adding a bit more contrast to his fur in my final renders, but I still kinda love this vibrancy!
5. I remember when I made my first animation years ago, fur was such a struggle to work with. Slow and choppy. But the speed of the viewport when working with fur these days is so impressive! I've ended up with a few million strands of fur and Houdini barely even cares about it. Of course it slows down my final render, but not a ton. ^^
6. I only have two models but I really wanted a third for this scene. I've used ScragBoy's "Grey Guy" as a stand-in, and while I'd love a third character I guess it does have its own merits. For one, it kinda works as a "YCH" model where you can, hopefully, insert yourself 😅
7. Working on the interior scene. It's mostly a kit bash of models that I've put together. I'm slowly figuring my characters out and I think Chance is turning out to be a DJ, so I gave him a mixer! xD
8. A WIP preview of our little grey guy coming into close contact with Jay! Whoops 😇
9. I made a little magazine for the small guy to hold xD I kinda wish this was a real thing!
10. I've really wanted an animation where I could focus on big butts... So I'm going all out on it~! 😉
