Added 2025-09-15 05:06:11 +0000 UTCDEADLINE FOR FEEDBACK 16/09 - 4:00 PM UK TIME
We've got an exciting video coming out very soon!
We’d love to hear your feedback and suggestions as we wrap up this video all about Alfred Nobel!
It's rough around the edges as we still need to shoot some MOTS (Man on the street) and finish final anims etc. but as always we appreciate you watching and reviewing this cut!
Is there anything wrong? Any other questions? Anything more you'd like to see? Explanations you think don't do a good enough job or lack depth? Let us know!
Thank you so much!

P.S. Make sure to double check if the final version is up on YT before you watch and comment!

“Gelignite” is unfamiliar, however, Plastique has been known (from spy movies) for years; that grey “Playdough”.

2025-09-23 18:12:49 +0000 UTCI'm too late for this one, I know! When showing slow-motion footage, it would be helpful to see a multiplier in addition to camera FPS. Without knowing playback speed, camera speed doesn't mean anything (I'd assume 24fps, but it could just as easily be 30 or 60). It gets even more complicated if, say, you master the video at 60fps and upload it at 30. Great video, BTW!

2025-09-23 17:15:28 +0000 UTCThe background music seems a bit overpowering in several areas. Though it could just be me since i am very hearing impaired. The amount of time spent with Henry and Derek talking together makes it feel more like a podcast as a opposed to a video. Im not personally opposed to the idea, but probably not the best format for an informative video meant to grab peoples attention.

2025-09-16 23:26:58 +0000 UTCWhen I was teenager late 60's I saw short film about him on TV. I'm pretty sure it was a 1939 MGM production. One of the things I still remember from that old film is that dynamite was sort of discovered by accident. Amazingly, I found it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RN7dNUg2Jow I think yours is great. The MGM, hmmm! With that said, I do not think that the last few minutes are a waste of time. In general I don't care much about opinions, I care more about facts as in verifiable facts, not the alternative kind. There are times when solidly informed opinions and reflections after the fact can be valuable educational tools.
