What does this mean? It means I now have full control over everything!
I spent a long time fine-tuning every single button and tried to make the interface as simple and intuitive as possible (which, honestly, wasn’t that hard). All the previous galleries were third-party plugins I installed separately on the site. Their inner workings were always a bit mysterious to me, and occasionally strange bugs would appear (though very rarely and under weird circumstances). I also tried simpler alternatives to avoid crashes, but they had very limited features and worked slowly.
So here’s what you get now:
Page flipping in every popular way: mouse wheel, drag left/right, keyboard arrows, on-screen buttons
Zoom (works great, but on PC you’ll need a moment to get used to panning around the zoomed image)
Fullscreen mode (buttons auto-hide, super convenient on phones)
About possible issues: I tested a lot and fixed everything I could find, so it should run perfectly. For now I’m uploading only new comics to this gallery. If everything stays stable over a longer period, I’ll gradually move the older ones here too.
But if you notice even the smallest glitch, please tell me right away! It’s possible that on some devices it behaves differently.
And in just a few minutes I’ll publish the final part of “Christmas Wish” so you can test the new viewer!
