Wise County Live Show Details

Please read this entire post if you are considering coming to this show, family.

Old Gods of Appalachia is pleased to announce that we're returning to our birthplace — and we're bringing our friends! Join us October 15 at Union High School for the second presentation of Unknown Roads.

FEATURING

Yuri Lowenthal as the Railroad Man

Corey Ryan Forrester as Jerry Brotherton

And Steve and Cam are incredibly excited to welcome Cecil Baldwin to the OGoA family in an all-new role!

SPECIAL MUSICAL GUESTS

Landon Blood and Keena Graham

TICKETS

Tickets will go on sale September 1 @ 10 am ET.

This show is provided by Pro-Art, a non-profit whose goal is to bring the performing arts home to Appalachian Mountains. Thus, tickets will be FREE for students within Pro-Art's service area (we'll have more info on which schools this covers soon, but we do know it includes ETSU in Johnson City). Students will be asked to provide a valid student ID number to reserve a ticket.

We would like to stress that the content of our live shows is no different from that of any episode of the show. Old Gods of Appalachia is not produced for children. It is a horror program that deals with adult themes, so audience discretion is advised.

Details of the third fall show will be announced soon.

Comments

I also love that Yuri Lowenthal is in!

Andrew Morris

It's not really even a collab tho? Cecil is an actor on another show. Now he's going to play a guest role in our live show. It's nothing to do with Night Vale (just as it's nothing to do with OGoA when Steve and Cam have played guest roles on other shows).

😲 Cecil Baldwin! I love it when there are podcast collabs (yes not a crossover). What fun!

Christine Mooers

That’s up to Pro-Art.

DeepNerd Media

I work at ETSU, and it's really cool seeing students being given some accommodations!

How much are the tickets going to be?

Didn't really think it was a crossover just amused at the person y'all were able to get to join the family. And the mental image of one.

I am screaming with delight. It's so perfect.

This is not a crossover.

DeepNerd Media

Never thought I'd see a Nightvale and Appalachia crossover

Mostly.

DeepNerd Media

Will the shows all feature the same story?

How about folks that didn’t quite graduate ETSU back in the 80s due to deer hunting and D&D?
