welcome welcome! the wrist comes into play on the more percussive rock strums, but yeah, with the blue and folk jams it’s all fingers, alternating between thumbmeat, fingernails and thumbnail, like waving an invisible egg shaker in front of the strings

2025-04-18 21:30:03 +0000 UTCAJJ strumming tutorial came up in my email and that was an instant subscribe. Seems like almost no wrist/arm movement, all fingers? Looking forward to the Normalization Blues tutorial. I worked that one out during the covid lockdown, curious how close I got.
