Hello there. I am curious to know if I am doing something wrong. This mod previously worked for me with no issues. However since I have added the updated version the Lycan forms do not display in my game at all. I followed the instructions, as I always do. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Love the diversity in the mod. But for those of us who don’t want the full overhaul and added features, (I just don’t want to worry about adding a lot of extra features I probably won’t use) is there a way to release just the Create Your Own Pack part of the mod? Because that would be amazing for those of us who want to play with just the EA werewolves (no Lycans or hybrids) but be able to create our own packs. Or maybe a toggle for those things to turn them off? Thanks :)

I feel like Sims released werewolves almost immediately following my installing of your werewolves mod and I hate to say it but I dug yours better. I had so much fun with the werewolves mod, but did uninstall to avoid any issues when downloading Sims werewolves. Are they compatible with eachother now? If so, I want to re-download yours but don't want a massive crash or issue if I do.

Is there any way to disable red eyes for my hybrid sim? I already checked hide glowing eyes and that didn't seem to work. I'd like to have normal eyes in my human form. Changing it in CAS doesn't work either.

Okay so apparently you need the Outdoor Retreat DLC for the cooking animations to work. Buying the DLC fixed it for me!

is there a way to stop the lycan appearance being applied to sims when they age up? They are not lycans, but every single sim from toddler and up ages up with that appearance applied to them and its incredibly annoying. I love this mode, but at this point I'm going to have to remove it because I"m tired of going into the cas of every house hold in my game and removing those CAS items

This is happening on 90% of my sims when they age up. Because it is set to teeth, there isn't even an easy way to keep it from being applied to randomly using MCCC. Other than this annoyance, I love the mod.

I love this mod so much, you have no idea. Thank you so much for making it! Would it be possible in the future to choose one of the lycan forms when transforming instead of the default EA werewolf one? I managed to choose forms when I made my sim a Lycan only, but when I used cheats to combine the lycan form with EAs werewolf, I cannot choose another form than the EA werewolf form when transformed, the lycan form option is greyed out :((

The werewolf overlay, the hairy body and fangs and the furry face, is showing up on probably 40% of my randomly generated NPC sims who are definitely not werewolves at this point. Not sure if there's maybe some way to make it not do that, or some way to quickly clean them up?

I just had to manually remove the Lycan teeth from 16 of the 20 toddlers that just aged up from infants in my current game. It's possible that this is a conflict with Crilender's CAS Unlocks mod, so I'll try testing without it, but this has been an ongoing problem and a response would be much appreciated. Update: I removed the CAS Unlock mod and it happened again. This time with a child aging up from toddler.

hey i recently tried turning my vampire into a werewolf hybrid but non of my sims are making the amalgam elixer they just put the pot on the stove and never resume making it is there a way to fix this?

Also, I'm not seeing an option to add to my pack. My werewolf started a pack with his first sired werewolf, and now I can't add any other werewolves/lycans to it at all. I tried shift clicking the sim I want to add and going to the lycan tab, no option. I tried clicking the sim, and flipping through every categorey I thought would hold the 'invite to pack' option and still nothing.

Whenever my werewolf Sims have children they never turn out as a werewolf. I don't know if this is a Glitch or because I use a childbirth mod and wicked whims or McCommand center or what. I tried using it without any mods or cc and it didn't work either. It really Annoying but take your time to get it to it. Great job on the mod. You're Doing great king.

I’ll definitely give that a look and see what the issue is. I can’t imagine why these bugs would exist, as the mod doesn’t alter the “go for feral run” interaction in any way and the walkstyle is a direct clone of EA’s walkstyle and is applied in the same way. There could be an unseen conflict, though.

Theoretically, they can be used together because the mods are mostly independent of one another, but there are a few CAS and object files that are the same, which would make them conflict. I haven’t tried using them together, but there shouldn’t be any game-breaking issues or any bugs that are beyond cosmetic.

Hi! This is actually a purposeful part if the mod. Werewolf/lycan hybrids can only use EA’s werewolf form because when the CAS parts of this mod are applied to a werewolf body frame, it results in really terrible and buggy sims. However, the beast form is a body cas part that can be used on EA’s werewolf form without issues and can be added directly in CAS. I hope to eventually enable the more human-looking forms for EA’s werewolves, but that’s a plan that I’ll be examining later on. :)

Whenever you have chance, could you maybe take a look at werewolf mod werewolf run script? At least with the werewolf mod pack installed, didn't seem to be executing properly. I found that: 1. Werewolves and lycans both used the human animation for jogging. 2. Werewolves and lycans do not seem to run under any normal conditions. No matter how far the distance is or what the stiumulus, they will wolf walk. 3. The only time the werewolf run animation engages is when an official werewolf pack wolf is enraged. They will then use the werewolf run animation when using “go here ferociously” or (sigh) zoomiees. 4. Certain actions such as “go for feral run” are not available to game pack werewolves while lycan mod is installed. 5. I have not seen a lycan use the werewolf run style under any circumstances with the lycan mod installed. 6. After confirming no other scripted mods running, removing the lycan mod causes normal run options such as “go for feral run” to be re-enabled for game pack werewolves. 7. Also tested Aelaan Bluewood’s Always Werewolf Walkstyle (with lycan mod removed) and had expected behavior. All move actions enabled, werewolves used wolf run animation where ever appropriate including going places and jogging or other run actions. Could just be me though. Do not have other user experiences to draw from yet.

hi! there is a bug in the mod ive found where i cant pick which feral form my sims appear in (ie gamepack werewolfs or mod lycan). i mean, the option is technically there but it doesnt show up in the bubble menu until i transform into wolf form. then "choose wold form variation.." is in the menu when i click on my character, however it is greyed out and says that my sim cannot do this while he is transformed. when he reverts back to human form, it is no longer there

There's an auto transform to wolf at night, but is there an auto transform to human at daybreak?

In theory both states are supposed to be used together, but that bug happens because the glowing yellow eyes that can be displayed in the mod are not compatible with the shape of werewolf eyes and the mod has the bug of that glowing eyes are always displayed, even if you don't select that option. What you can do is delete the "SP_WM_WolfEyes" and "SP_WM_WolfEyes_DarkSclera" files (in SP_WM_CAS folder) so you can have a sim with both states without that bug happening, or you can do what I did, edit them with Sims 4 studio so the yellow eyes don't show in ages from teens to elder, I made this so kids can still show them off, I really like how the glowing eyes look on kids and they don't have a werewolf form, so the error doesn't happen, but if you just erase the files for the eyes for adults, the eyes for children don't work because they are missing the mesh, so I just edited them to prevent eyes from showing on the adults, but I keep them there so they still work on the children, if you don't want to do that, and just chose remove the files, you should also remove "SP_WM_WolfEyes_Child" and "SP_WM_WolfEyes_Toddler" because otherwise it will cause the missing mesh visual bug. I´m sorry if can't express me correctly, the english isn't my mother languaje.

Omg same! His eyes were popping out. However, I believe the new pack is also just conflicting with a lot of other mods. Most of my werewolves for some reason had "human skin" when they transformed instead of fur.

There was one bug that was quite horrifying and funny. I turned my Lycan sim into a hybrid lycan/werewolf. I don't know if I should have done that, because when my sim turned into his werewolf form his eyes were popping out. Once I removed the lycan, he was fine lol. I'm guessing I wasn't suppose to do that ^.~'' haha.

It is now 2 days later and I have found out the only way you can make this work is if you have the very boring Outdoor Retreat, which I had to find out both things. So if you really want to have this elixer, plan on shelling out a minimum of $14 for the very empty pack. More fool I.

I have tried a hundred times to make the Amalgam Elixir, it appears on the stove without him there but is not finished, and no matter how many times I click on resume cooking it he refuses. I think the result of this is that my CC clothing keeps disappearing off of my normal SIM. But I am not sure of that. it's only just started happening today, but I haven't played with this particular SIM since the 25th I think. Something I’ve seen other people have an issue with is their sims directory being in their cloud storage and something causes the cloud to block files from being accessed. Maybe try seeing if that could be an issue?

Unlikely to be from this mod. The patch broke a number of mods ( some bienchen and KiaraSims mods caused the game failed to load error, and likely more, too) so check those for updates. The best way to see if there is an issue with a mod is to load with just that mod and MCCC and see if the issue persists.

Hello, I have a problem because today at the official premiere of "Werewolf" there was a conflict with your werewolf mod ... The game is loading but an error window pops up and I have to restart the game. In addition, when creating a new sim and placing it on the lot, the game does not load, it throws me to the main menu .... Please help ???

I tried out the Witches and Fairies mod as well today, and discovered that if you have Wicked Whims installed, that when the spirit comes out of the Witches Altar she keeps trying to have sex with you, and is quite persistent. I think I need to turn down some of the settings.

With the lunar alter, the items have to be in a specific position on the alter to work. I also believed it was broken at first, but you have to play around with the position. For example: One of the recipes call for plasma fruit, moonstone, and werewolf venom. To craft this, the werewolf venom goes on the left, then the plasma fruit in the middle, and the moonstone on the right.

I've run into an issue where my werewolf with wolf hair, ears, and claws even in human form... edit: I've even given her the cure potion. So she's fully human but still has the wolf hair, teeth and ears

I've been playing this mod for a while and I'd like to say I love so much about it. The animations and perk system are fun. I have run into a couple of minor issues and have a couple of suggestions for future iterations: - I play hybrid because it's the only way to customize the appearance of my werewolf. I have a collection of mods to give him that 2010 Wolfman look. I wish there were a way to choose between vampiric thirst or werewolf hunger. - Alternatively, eating rabbits and raw meat could replenish your thirst. (it's clear from the animation that the rabbits are full of blood. - Perhaps you could have a "maul" attack that fills your thirst? - The Lunar alter seems kind of bugged. When I add 3 items to unlock a perk (moonstone+blood fruit+venom) the option I'm trying to unlock, disappears from the list. - I love the running-on-all-fours animation, but it doesn't seem to move the werewolf any faster. He's still going at the speed of regular walking. It might also be nice if the "vampiric run" could be changed to "hybrid run" used this animation. Thanks for this mod. I'm having a great time with it.

It's not a smooth transition. It combines the two forms so they end up with 2 sets of ears and are still hairy like the humanoid wolf form. I meant the hybrid feral form would look better if it utilized things from the furry mod.

I'm also running into an issue where my vampire/werewolf hybrids break every time I reload the game and I have to re-install the mod to fix them. By break I mean, their beastly power meter disappears and there's a blank spot where it used to be, and the plombob resets to a vampire plumbob. I only experience this with hybrids.

If you make your werewolf a vampire/werewolf hybrid, you can use your vampire dark form as your wolf form.

Discovered an issue where placing "The Book of the Beast" on any bookshelf renders it useless for leveling the Werewolf Lore skill. The book has to be destroyed and re-purchased from Thatcher Wolff. I was able to repeat this error multiple times. I was finally able to just hide all my bookshelves to stop my sim from placing it on a bookshelf. After doing that, my sim was able to pick up the book again and resume learning Werewolf lore.

I love this mod so much. But, even with maxed feral control and all perks, my sims transform every night. Kinda starting to become annoying. Would be nice if possible to see if it possible to randomize “full moon” nights instead them being every night.

I loved it at first. My gosh, I have never loved a mod more. But now all of the sudden, there are major glitches and my sims werewolves are not morphing into their werewolf self after I move them into a new lot and they have lost their menu options to infect players or do anything werewolf. I even had them reinfected and then they just run like a werewolf but don't do anything else and don't morph into the werewolf appearance. It seems to happen with any werewolves that I move into a new lot. Which stinks for my storyline idea of infecting all the worlds by spreading them around in all the worlds. Very sad. Please correct the bugs so I can play them again. For now, I uninstalled the mod to avoid gaining resentments towards something that I really want to love. <3

The 'humanoid wolf mode' thing happened to me, too, but I entered CAS and then returned to game and it went away.

I found a bug with the mod, the sims biology tab where the lifespan UX has been messed up and doesn't display properly. The traits and the bars around it are also looking weird. I've moved the mod in and out of my mods folder to make sure this is the one doing it and the game returns to normal after it's out the file. Please fix it as the rest of the mod works well and I love the gameplay!

I need some help. So one of my sims went to the library to play some chess and a little bit later a werewolf walked in, grabbed a book and started to read. It wasn't even dark or night...is there a way to disable him appearing? It's funny though. 🤣 And do they bite/ attack autonomously?

Hello I'm highly confused I seem to be stuck in humanoid wolf mode. my feral control is full I am not stressed atm and I've been stuck in that mode since first change days ago. when I try to phase to human nothing happens after the affect. ** ok clarification I can enter human form I just can’t get back to looking human. Hello, I turned a Sim into a werewolf, and now he can't have a child with his partner. I use Wicked Whims, there's a setting that basically guarantees pregnancy, the pregnancy test is always negative. I tried using MCCC to force a pregnancy, the male Sim isn't on the list. Another couple had no problems, I just tested it on another save.

When there’s an update, you should replace all files because they all manage different parts of the mod and could have new resources depending on what feature is fixed/added. But today’s release is the same as the previous update, so redownloading isn’t required if you have the most recent version.

Honestly, it sounds like this might be a mod conflict, as I haven't had any other reports of exception errors. Try loading the game with only the mod installed and attempt to craft the potion. If it still causes an exception, the game may not be able to read the pot object that the sim uses for the interaction, so try placing all package files and ts4script file directly into your mods folder. :)

This mod is Amazing!! Congratulations. You are making a better work than the Sims Studio themselves. There are so many layers on this mod and so much gameplay, it's amazing. I've found some minor bugs, for example the interaction won't trigger when I ask my werewolf to eat chickens (great feature BTW). And past level 6 the Book of the Beast will stop giving me Werewolf Lore (Not sure if this is a bug or maybe this is supposed to happen!).

also I'm using occult hibrid mod,my werewolf turned into spellcaster,and I had no issues or error code,he kept all werewolf abilitties,and spellcaster ones,check traditional witchcraft mod as well if u are into supernatural as much as I am.

There is a mod to change that,and much more by clicking on your sim,i think it's called better vampires.Also if u are using some other mods that add traits over time,u can remove traits with UI cheats or MCCC.

My sim is now a hybrid but I did pick his vampire weaknesses and strengths, even though I removed all his weaknesses with a cheat. He still hisses and it makes every sim around him dislike him even though I removed the hissing weakness. Am I doing something wrong?

So I somehow made a hybrid after my werewolf got bit by a vampire. Her needs kept dropping like crazy. Luckily she survived the whole transitioning ( UI cheats) . I loved it! they are so cool!! I've been trying to make other hybrids but they just keep dying. I'm not sure if there is a trick or something? Even my Vampire who was bit by a werewolf, he would either die or the debuff goes away altogether when I go to edit mode. I did make that potion on the stove, but no one wants to drink it lol. Do they have to be human?

This might be because of a game bug that has gone unfixed for months. If you go to my patreon page, try downloading the "Herbalism Resetting" fix and see if that helps!

Usually this means that your game can't read the script file. Try placing all files from the mod directly into your mods folder without any subfolders.

I found out if you have any broken cc on your werewolf the only wolf form that works right is the beast also if your wolf is naked when they change back the wolf form stays dress them and human comes back. Try dressing and undressing in wolf form might kick it in.

Hi! You have to remove the moonstones from your inventory, then place the moonstones onto the "bench" part of the Altar! Then the perks should be selectable!

Hmmm, I’ll have to look into that. The humanoid form is the only one that specifies which gender receives which CAS part because of the different frames, so there must be an issue with how the sim is identified in the code. This shouldn’t affect the other forms, though.

Loving this mod so far!! Only thing I've had some troubles with that I haven't seen anyone else comment on, is that my sims with custom gender settings (male with feminine frame) don't change into the humanoid wolf form. The game acts as though they've changed (eyes change, the walk, the voice, etc), but nothing minus the eyes visually changes. I am unsure as to whether or not it affects the other wolf forms as well, since I haven't played around with that yet. I wasn't sure if it was a glitch with this mod, or a conflict with some other mod of mine :0

I've been having the same problem with not being able to use the Lunar Altar perk statue; my sim keeps going to choose a perk, but throws their hands up with the exclamation point symbol, and the statue is completely clear of anything on the moon or around the base, just the moonstone on the altar stone, as suggested... I've tried moving it around in case it was a clash of the placement of the statue itself but nothing is working. xxx

This is definitely something I missed from Sims 3, and you made some excellent additions! Constructively, have you heard of the Savestate comics furry mod? There are some wonderful works there to build from, and then there's Tarruvi's werewolf snout that might be a good aesthetic option, as a possible update?

The lycanthrope statue has different effects when certain items are placed on it. There are only three options as of right now. Placing raw meat on the statue will lure a wild werewolf to your lot at night, placing a moonstone will cause nearby werewolves to lose Feral Control, and placing an alcron metal will cause nearby werewolves to react and run away from the lot.

Unfortunately, because the humanoid werewolf appearance is classified as teeth, it sometimes is added to the vampire form automatically. Everything is disabled for random, but this doesn’t seem to have an affect. The appearance can be removed if you take the sim in CAS, change into the dark form, and remove the overlay from the teeth section.

The altar has to be unblocked by any objects, your sim needs maxed Werewolf XP for perks, it needs to be night, and the objects need to be placed on the slab of stone right in front of the altar. If the interactions are still greyed out, try rearranging the placement of the objects. They need to be in exactly the right slot for the options to work. Also, there cannot be anything placed on the upper surface of the altar, below the moon.

The glowing yellow eyes can be removed by clicking the sim and navigating to the “Feral Form” menu. There should be an option to “Disable Glowing Eyes”. :)

Same thing here, couldn't provoke the werewolf but it attacked anyway. No mark of the beast, just went into healing. I created this sim specifically to use for this mod so he isnt another occult type. Am I supposed to give it time? UPDATE: I got the mark of the beast when I befriended Professor Thatcher and asked him to give me the curse.

First off gotta say you did not disappoint with this mod and EA should take a walk of shame because this is better than what they did with TS3 and probably better than what they could have done in TS4! I love the concept of the Hybrid Form for Werewolfs all except the dog faces but hey I can’t complain I’m in love with this mod! But if you ever decide to change the look for future updates might I suggest looks facial wise those to Michael Covin’s Hybrid form from underworld and Deucalion’s demon werewolf form from Teen Wolf.

That method would work, but there’s also a cheat if you enable testingcheats and shift+click the Lunar Altar! :)

if you have mc command centre installed you can search for and add the buff ‘heightened senses’ and either wait for that to pass and you sim will turn into a werewolf that way, or you can remove the buff once added with UI extensions and your sim will once again, turn into a werewolf

If you aren’t receiving the Mark of the Beast at all even after trying multiple times, it sounds like your sim might be another occult. Only humans are able to get the mark buff.
