This was a great year for pixeldrain. Here are some statistics:

The number of Patreon subscribers increased from 207 to 1341
Monthly earnings through Patreon increased from €598 to €3041
54 340 Terabytes of bandwidth was used (that's 54 Petabytes!)
101 160 700 files were viewed through the website
119 400 162 files were downloaded
Total bandwidth capacity was upgraded from 20 Gbps to 50 Gbps
Storage capacity was upgraded.. I'm not sure what we had at the start of the year, but we're currently sitting at 724 TB
I have made 133 commits to the pixeldrain server repository, added 7843 lines of code and removed 4928 lines of code

The subscriber growth has helped tremendously with keeping the project running. In 2021 I was still paying for hosting myself. 2023 could be the year that I can finally start working on pixeldrain full time. Until now that possibility has only been a distant dream.

One planned feature for the next year is an online drive, with real folders and sharing options and such (possibly even with a desktop sync client). Implementing something like that is a huge amount of work, something I definitely can't undertake while also working for a different employer. If I can work on it full time I might just be able to get a proof of concept going next year.
