I agree. I would personally go with Mikey Madison this year but I wouldn’t be upset if Moore won. It’s a bold genre film and much better than the biopic mush they repackage year after year. But at the same time, the Academy might wait 25-30 years and scramble to award Mikey for something like they are doing with Demi now. It’s an endless cycle.

Represents something that resonates with voters and audiences, in a film that was successful. Do I think it is deserved for this particular performance? That's another story. But oscars rarely are about that. It's more a career recognition.
