Discord Details

Hello all. Just checking in on you guys on the discord thing to see if you have any questions. Will just be reiterating the movie night stuff for Sunday a couple times this weekend for everyone. Apologies if I get redundant. Like I said before, it's my first time doing something like this, and I want to be sure all tiers are aware of everything. Hopefully it gets smoother with practice. 

The watch party is 8:30 pm, April 2nd (Sunday), central time for me here in Texas (will need to adjust accordingly depending on where you are, of course). Before the movie starts, I've created a general voice channel where you guys can chat amongst yourselves, a sort of cocktail hour if you will. In order to do that, when you sign up for Discord, if you haven't already, you will need to go to my server, which should be an image of me leaping in the air. Once you are at my server, you can communicate that way through the voice channel if you want to speak (simply click General under the voice channel tab on the left of your screen).

But once it's time, we can head over to the movie night channel (or you can just hang there if you'd prefer). Click General on the left under the text channel,"movienightchat" option to join the chat. For the first movie night I am going to have you guys muted, and I will talk us through the film if that's okay, but you are welcome to text, let me know if everything is running smoothly, ask questions, share your movie opinions, little known facts as it goes, etc. etc.. All I ask is that you guys remain courteous to each other, no insults, no pains in my ass, that sort of thing. It is quite easy to block people, so if privileges are abused, I won't hesitate. But...you guys are pretty cool, so I know you'll be fine with all of that, like you always are. Just gotta share the fine print. 

I'd say it's a good idea to download, add me, and maybe play around it with before the night of, just in case you need to ask questions, or make any adjustments. Shoot me a wave or something, to be sure you're in if you'd like. I've been doing a Discord crash course to try and get the hang of it, but from your end, it should be fairly straightforward as I said. Looking forward to Sunday!
