Next Major Feature

Howdy folks! Just wanted to get your feedback on where you think my attention should go for the next major feature.

Hierarchy system: A hierarchical system where NPCs have relationships with higher-ups. Also would include hierarchical relationships with factions and buildings; in towns where a faction has tightly controlled trade, this would reflect in the NPCs running shops, limiting their income

NPC Hobbies and Homes: A dynamic list of hobbies weighted towards the NPC's lifestyle and social class. Homes are brief; nothing huge like the descriptions of the taverns, more akin to the level of detail afforded to roads (which is actually quite a lot, FYI ;) )

Life Events and Personalities: the Pendragon system of paired traits is, I feel, really really powerful, but it's still in its relative infancy in the generator. As an example of the sorts of things that we could do, we can use the Pendragon traits to dictate job success (jailers would be better the crueler they are, guards better the more suspicious they are, and harlots the more lustful and energetic they are), establish how well liked they are, and the inscriptions on their tombstones.

Town history: a set of events that occur, dwarf fortress style; will include a setting for how much history to generate, and assign it in chronological order (132 years ago, there was the Battle of  Urrrgh, which ______. Then, 89 years ago, the town was struck by locusts. Not two years after that, we were invaded.).

Commerce and trade: establishes levels of production for various goods, along with needs for exports. Depending on the biome, certain things might be hard to come by (wood in desert biomes), raising the price of them.

Lol I agree with this sentiment.

Can i vote for all of them?

Not gonna lie, I like the idea of a mini-stock market that details the prices of resources

Imports and exports really add a degree of realism and help shape the village/town/city as well as the regional economy.
