Pretty much. There was already an equipment/magic resistance check around thirty floors earlier, in the form of the gorgons, but timestop is a hard wall that’s basically impossible to bypass. If you don’t have some passive way of resisting it, you’re done. Do not pass Go, do not collect 200$, straight to hell.
