It is kinda common when a mother is that far along and MISERABLE that they suggest a glass of wine or certain medication that you typically can't have when pregnant. They do it because you are SO CLOSE and they don't think it will harm the kid since they'll be out soon so you might as well do something to feel better. We got the same recommendation and a prescription for fancy ibuprofen and I picked it up for her and they wanted to make sure she wasn't pregnant and I was like "well she is but the doctor just prescribed this to us so its cool." It was a whole thing. You got this bro, you're about to unlock a whole new level of love. Enjoy every second, even the (literal) shit.
