Concept Art - Tabor's home v2
Added 2022-07-29 11:01:03 +0000 UTChenllo everyone! for this week, i'm bringing an updated version of Tabor's home - aka The Rogue Team's base!
i've always been unsatisfied with the first version (which you can find here). interior design is definitely not my forte, but i felt like i could do something a little better with the original idea. a house is a good way to show an individual's personality, after all! so i touched up some things to better reflect who Tabor is.
so here it is, the new version of the team's headquarters!

Tabor lives in Junco Forest, which is close to Akebi Village, the comic's main settlement. its trees are average sized at first, but the deeper you enter the forest, the bigger they become. Tabor chose one of these massive trees to make his home.
as a treecko, Tabor naturally enjoys forests and plant life! one of the main changes in his house's design has to do with this aspect. a lot more indoor plants!!! he also has quite the collection of books and maps. Like everything else in his house, Tabor made his own book shelf (shown near the map of Water Continent).
Among his belongings, he seems to keep a blue flag uncharacteristic of Akebi Village's style, as well as a Deposit Box. though it's a slim chance, Erin hopes both were acquired legally.

The team's base is first seen in Chapter 2 - Into the Dungeon (in a few updates ôuô)! It's a recurring location from this point onwards.
