Some News & Upcoming PATREON Changes for March

Boy it's been a minute since I did any Patreon Update. But here goes!

First for some news.

I'm going to be starting a new job in March

The reason for this is... well... mostly financial reasons. I've been making it as a freelance artist for almost three whole years now and I'm at to the point where I'm starting to get burnt out on doing commissions. I have not been able to get a new update for Whenever They Catch You even though I keep telling myself that I would, I still have two comic commissions that I took over a year ago that need finishing, I'm still in the middle of the Should I Get Sleepy project with Darkwitt that I've been dedicating a lot of my time to, and I want to dabble more into animation.

But most importantly... I feel as though I have not really had the time to grow artistically.

It feels as if my artistic ability has plateaued. There are new styles I want to try, background scenes I want to start painting, and new comics I want to start writing. And nothing sounds more relieving than having the guilt-free time to practice all of that.

With a steady part-time job, I can still draw and do all those things guilt-free while not struggling to keep my head above the water each month.

That being said, once I start getting paid at this new job, commissions are probably going to be closed for a while. Not indefinitely. Just for a while. I want to finish up all the comics I owe and the work I've been meaning to get done before I get back to full commissions again. This will unfortunately include badges and colored sketches.

IF I SELECTED YOU FOR FEBRUARY'S COMMISSION SLOTS, THIS WILL NOT AFFECT YOU. I WILL STILL COMPLETE YOUR COMMISSION.

I seriously cannot thank you guys enough for all the support and love you have given me in the years I've had this Patreon and Discord. Everything I do through this I wanna be sure you guys get your rewards and compensation as well! That's why there are going to be some positive changes in March that are going to affect ALL of my Patreon subscribers!

Patreon Changes

• First:
  Commissions and Sketches (when they re-open) will be for PATRONS ONLY! (Does not apply for Badges)
  Yep! You heard that right! Commissions will only apply to those between the $1 tier to the $20 tier! Discounts will still apply to respective tiers!

• Second: 
  $10 Tier members will now get to have their OC's appear as cameos in comics!
  I'm opening up the character cameo slots to more folks now so I can get a wider arrange of characters to include in the stories I've been brewing ;)

• Third:
  I will randomly select FIVE $20 Tier members each month to get a 1 CHARACTER sketch.
  I will be using a spinning name wheel to randomly select 5 folks each month to get a sketch of whatever character they'd like in a pose of their choosing. I may include the option to wait for a second name selection to get a 2 character sketch as well! I'll sort the details on that later.

And these are all the changes I will roll out for now until I get settled with my new job and see how things are going. I will implement these at the beginning of March, but I won't close commissions until I'm starting to get paid.
