I'm uploading finished versions of one-sheet arena maps. I hope you will enjoy the layout of those arenas for some small skirmishes or dueling!
I wanted to put a short note here on some stuff related to the gameplay. I've put 2 custom terrain types here, though only on a few hexes: Trap and Mist. Use it as you see fit, but in my view, trap is supposed to be this hex dealing leg damage if anything stands on top of it by the end of the turn - also acting as a hex you can push your enemy into, after his turn is already finished. Mist, is a terrain making it +1 harder for the enemy to hit you, but giving you +1 penalty likewise.
As for the map B (the Frost Bridge) I intended to make it available to fight both on top of the bridge and to move freely under it, to give some additional tactical options.
As a side note - I was experimenting a bit on some custom rules for arena dueling, to negate somehow the importance of who goes first in the situation where only 2 units are fighting each other in a duel. I've tried 2 different variants - the first was the idea, that both players are moving simultaneously, writing on paper the number of hex they want to move at, which was a bit silly and reminded me this guessing game of battleships you play on paper.
After it didn't work out too well, I've tried something different: splitting each player's movement in half (rounding up) and making them move alternating 2 times in one movement turn- letting players to react to how their opponent is positioning - negating a bit this initiative advantage, yet still allowing faster units to outmaneuver the enemy easily. Do not treat that too seriously - but I think that little change made dueling more enjoyable for me :P
