Preview - Alpine Lakes
Added 2022-07-16 01:19:27 +0000 UTCI'm finishing up a new biome - what I wanted to do, is to make a map compatibile with other grassland themed maps - but also including snowy moutain peaks to allow for a nice change of biome - a change in a way that new terrain features begin to appear. Those maps should work well if you plan to use them in conjunction with the older ones - but it should also be a cool map on itself, giving you a combination of moutains, grasslands and cold lakes.

I agree - on a second look, the water do stand out too much - more desaturated waters make the place look colder and makes the ice to pop up more. I've worked on the colors a bit, so I'm changing the picture.

2022-07-20 14:26:28 +0000 UTCI have a bit of criticism. I feel like the water color might need to be tweaked a bit, it almsot looks blue water from the tropics. But I like the overall theme, I think it will fit in with the other maps well!
