2025-04-08 14:24:35 +0000 UTCthe brood probably havent reinforced her belly enough at this stage of the pregnancy and since their probably still cell dividing within her womb, making it full of a very thick liquid made up of a mixture individual brood cells and liquids kinda like a pimple. If enough pressure is applied at this stage of her pregnancy her belly could potentially rupture which could have happened to some of the earliest hosts before the aliens refined the brood to reinforce the womb to be able to withstand the pressures of the broods growth. Another theory is that some of christines fat that she has accumulated around her legs and back could also be additional brood cells that are replicating everywhere within in her body that serve the purpose of rebuilding her body. So not only are the cells in her womb replicating but the alien cells within her legs back and everywhere are replicating consuming her old cells for biomass and replacing them with alien cells designed to reconstruct her entire body into a proper host. Its just at this point they haven't had enough time to reinforce her womb making there a small chance of it popping if enough pressure is applied at this stage although if you were to look at her internals at this stage some may have disapeared and replaced with alien organs and some of her muscle tissue may be being replace with much stronger alien muscle fiber cells.
