This second episode was also very fun! I definitely have some things about this show that I don't like (not letting I-LAND team pick a leader, the team average, etc) but overall still had a good time.

I really like the decision to make a separate stage performance of the signal song for this episode to the one released before the show, because often in survival shows it feels like wasted time when I am seeing the leadup to a stage that I already watched before the show started.

I know this isn't a popular take but I am still rooting for Jiyoon, even though yes she handled this stage poorly. I refuse to let Mnet railroad me onto a hate bandwagon, and what I see is a stressed teenager making a few impulsive decisions. Hopefully the other trainees not voting for her despite her good vocals serves as a wakeup call that she needs to be mindful of how her attitude will affect both voters and those around her.
