The ground sharply drops away in front of you into the mist beyond, snow swirling downwards in flurries that disappear into the abyss. For as far as you can see to either side the canyon winds onwards.
This bridge may well be the only crossing point for miles, which makes it the perfect place for an ambush… or the worse place to be ambushed…
Luckily we’re all going to be able to get across completely safely… totally safely...
