This burst of life in the midst of the desert is a surprise, but a welcome one for sure. Life springs forth abundantly and seemingly without end, almost like the veritable geyser which fuels it.
Local legends speak of poor souls who have waded too deep into this pool in their desperation to quench their thirst and have been drawn down all the way into the under-dark. Superstition and rumours to be sure, but then again, no-one has ever returned from the depths to correct it.
