Well it happened, Youtube made me join the demonetized club
Added 2020-09-04 18:31:07 +0000 UTCThis week has been a nightmare even if the start was great.. Got my third job, YAY! Started working really early like from 6am and 6.30am, didn't have the best sleep the night before so I kind of had a headache when after working the second day.
When I got home I had en email from Youtube, telling me that my Superchat was turned off! I of course was like what, why did they do that? So of course I headed over to my YouTube channel and there is was, your channel is no longer eligible for monetization!!
The stupid reasoning they had was that my channel contained "Sexually gratifying content" as in "Content containing sexual themes or content isolated for the purpose of sexual gratification"
I was not ready when I started crying, crying because of the pain this caused me.. I knew it was only a matter of time before it happened, as in Youtube giving a bullshit reason for removing monetization (since they have done that to so many creators in the past). What I was not prepared for was the emotional and mental confusion and pain that came with it.. I dont HAVE sexual content over on YouTube, that is what I have this place for, Patreon..!!
So well, the short story of it all is that I will take the rest of this week off.. Not that there is much left of it.. I need to recharge and turn of the internet for a little while (well maybe not the internet, but YouTube and social media in general, Netflix is good tho)
I think I will focus more of my attention to Patreon after that! Making some more Patreon Exclusive content for all the amazing people being able to support me!
