New Ambience: High Alert

Greetings Patrons,
Here's a modern style set-piece that exists somewhere between calm, and action. A military base has just received word that things are kicking off somewhere, and it's go-time o'clock.
The ambience is scurrying soldiers, jeeps, helicopters and radio chatter that connects everything to everything. It's one of those situations that runs like clockwork for those on the team, but appears like chaos to the outside observer.
Musically this almost entirely percussion, but done as underscore. It gets close, but never achieves the driving, pounding levels of full-on action,. Instead, it propels subtly, foreshadowing things to come. And now, after explaining how this isn't really an action track, you could absolutely use it as one.
Filling out the spaces around the percussion are synths and electric guitars, which add to the sense of disorientation we have as observers. While there's nothing about this that's sci-fi, I'd say that it would work quite well in certain situations. The Alien universe would probably be a good fit here.
