New Ambience: Boiler Room

Greetings Patrons,
Noir, horror, mystery, suspense. - at some point you know you're going to end up in one of these. What is it about boiler rooms?
I mean, we all know the answer - which is why they're so popular across a large range of stories. For the ambience I hewed pretty closely to the tropes: wet floors, grinding machinery, reverberant metallic hits and scrapes. A central character moves in and out, back and forth, searching.
Musically there are elements of musique-concrète, and classic suspense techniques. Often the line between music and ambience becomes blurred. Prepared piano, celeste/dulcitone, bitcrushed synth drums, synthesizers, strings and a basso choir singing a single note. This would work well for cultist enclaves or secret rituals in a modern setting.
As this track is in Patreon exclusive sneak-peek mode, I've included the mixed version (live on the site next week), as well as music-only, and ambience-only versions here. Additionally, I created two 'no footsteps' versions which remove the central character, for added utility.
