Greetings Patrons,
Here's a cinematic underscore track that has a moderate amount of pace/momentum. I wanted the energy level to be elevated, but not full-on action. Musically it's fairly typical hybrid orchestration. Synths, and electronic percussion are mixed with ostinato strings, solo cello and some traditional orchestral percussion. There's an ebb and flow to the intensity so it stays out of 'relentless' territory.
The music definitely leans modern, and I'd say it could absolutely be used in sci-fi and cyberpunk. I'd even stretch that a bit and say it could be used outside those genres as there's nothing high-tech in the ambience that would place it in the future.
The ambience is a combination of some cavernous room tones, close and distant metallic scrapes, knocks and bangs and and a bunch of distant vocalizations. This could potentially double as a military barracks as well.
As this track is in Patreon exclusive sneak-peek mode, I've included the mixed version of the track (live on the site next week), as well as music-only, and ambience-only versions. Additionally, I created 2 'revolt' versions that amp up the voices into more chaotic shouting that could add a fun twist.
Small Tech Update:
During my CSS updates a few weeks ago, I totally broke the keyword search on a couple of different screen sizes. I only noticed it when I was testing something on an iPad and it didn't work. I believe I tracked down the cause, and it should be working again. Sorry about that!
Thank you all, as always, for your continuing support.
Best,
Tim
