Greetings Patrons,
This is essentially a sci-fi action sequence. What action that is, is up to you. The plan was to create a moving, enclosed space where you're shackled to a bench. And now that I think about it, I'd say it was sci-fi adjacent. It could absolutely be used in a modern story. I took inspiration from the scene in Rogue One where Jyn is in the back of one of these (the 10 wheeled Star Wars version) and the vehicle is ambushed and she gets rescued. It's a fairly short scene but I though it could work well as a set piece. You could do the escaping yourself, or your comrades could come to your rescue. Either way, you're in a pickle.
Musically, this is purely orchestral. Nothing hybrid about it. Ostinato strings, brass, woodwinds and percussion. It has several build-ups which help it go from tension to action. I think it has kind of a heist vibe as well and the music only track would work for any number of sneaky, action/chase type scenarios.
As this track currently in Patreon exclusive sneak-peek, I've included the mixed version of the track (live on the site next week), as well as music-only, and ambience-only versions. Additionally, I created an 'exterior' version which shifts the ambience focus outside. Desert winds, exterior engine and tire/tread noises. There's also a variation on the internal ambience that removes the tech - which is the walkie-talkie static, console beeps and subtle sci-fi ambient tones. I hope you find these useful additions.
Thank you all, as always, for your continuing support.
Best,
Tim
