Greetings Patrons,
As promised, here is the third installment of my Western trilogy. I didn't start off wanting to create 3 tracks but while working on the first one and I would get sidetracked with other ideas and start a new project sketch. In fact, I had all 3 basically fleshed out when I started polishing the first one. It was quite a new way of working for me and something I'm glad I did, and thank you for indulging me!
Stagecoach Heist is an action/chase piece revolving around mounted bandits attacking a speeding wagon. Or, could it be the stagecoach has been stolen and the fine law abiding riders are trying to bring them to justice? Hmm.
The ambience, like any decent western, is galloping horses, a speeding stagecoach and general yelling and shooting.
Musically, I stretched the stylistic boundaries a bit and in addition to the reverb soaked electric guitars, acoustic guitars and I added synth bass, and a variety of noisy sound-design elements to give it a slightly more modern flair than your typical Morricone style piece. As some of you noted previously, it wouldn't be out of place in the Firefly universe.
As this track is in sneak-peek mode, I've included the mixed version, as well as ambience-only, and music-only versions of the track here for patrons. Additionally, I created 2 'no guns' versions, which remove the gunfire and associated yelling which lend it more of an escape vibe. I hope you find these additions useful.
Thank you all, as always, for your continuing support.
Best,
Tim
