Greetings Patrons,
Well, what started with a single low-strings ostinato somehow turned into a manic, slightly stressful extended action sequence.
A ship at sea is being drawn, inexorably, into a massive whirling vortex.
Musically this is quite dense. A lot of movement in the strings, brass have the accents, low growls, and occasional doomy melodic line. Sprinkled choirs, synths, and tubular bells add to this everything stew.
There's a bit of a reprieve in two places. I find these fairly necessary in extended action sequences. Thematically it works to offer a bit of false hope like a point in the chase where the quarry has been temporarily lost. This will work well across genres as an action/tension track.
The ambience features a stormy sea, swirling whirlpool, and struggling ship.
As this is in Patreon-only sneak-peak mode, I've added the mixed-version as well as music-only, and ambience-only versions here. Additionally, I've created 'no-ship' versions of the mixed and ambience tracks, and a 'no-lightning' version of the ambience-only as well. More additionally, I've experimented with extracting a couple of shorter endless-loop versions for those of you who may want something to drop into sessions without having to commit to the full monty. These are in .ogg format as they are better for seamless looping than .mp3.
Thank you all, as always, for your continuing support.
Best,
Tim
