New Ambience: Warlock's Whisper

The original save file for this track was called something like: Feb_2023_orch_magic_thing. I do this a lot. My working folder is full of snippets that I come back to, or not. Some of them warrant a "hey, this isn't terrible, why did I stop working on this?" Others get a "this will never see the light of day and must be killed with fire!". Often they do get finished and I simply resave the file with the new title.
Warlock's Whisper was one of those tracks that began with what I hoped was a cool magical vibe., to which I added elements that I thought helped push a sense of creepy wonder. I know that my natural inclination is to push music toward a darker sound, so I thought it would be interesting to skirt that line a bit. There are darker elements for sure, but these are followed by moments of respite.
As this track is in patron-only sneak-peek mode, I've included the mixed version (live on the site next week), as well as music-only and ambience-only versions of the track here. Additionally, I did 2 no magic versions which, to be honest, should read 'less magic', as it removes the whooshing electrical discharges but still retains some of the other creepy sounds.

I love when you lean into the dark stuff (like Dark Rider two weeks ago). That said, I think you hit the mark you were aiming for with this. Excellent, as always!
