Greetings Patrons,
I didn't really have a handle on where to set this week's track until a couple of days ago. The music came first on this one, but the more I worked on it, the more it seemed to deviate from my original plan. I was going for a utility action track, rooted in folk instruments. But I couldn't shake the idea that it sounded - fun. In fact, it sounded like a party.
Tavern Celebration ended up being a big raucous party. It can be a post-adventure bash, a wedding, or anything that brings a lot of people together. That being said, it can absolutely double as a utility action track. Perfect for something upbeat, but not EPIC.
This is in patron-only sneak-peek mode, so I've attached the mixed version (live on the site next week) as well as music-only, and ambience-only versions. Additionally, I thought it would be fun to have an ambience of the tavern after everyone's gone home. So there's an ambience-only 'empty' version as well. (Not totally empty mind you, there's the poor sod sweeping up, and a drunk asleep on a table.)
Thank you all, as always, for your continuing support.
Best,
Tim
