Greetings Patrons,
Here's a magical, off-beat, slightly creepy(?) track that, after the music was finished, I decided to set in the dark recesses of the earth, lit only by bioluminescent fungi. In D&D this would be part of the Underdark, but it could just as easily be above ground. The mood is really the main thing.
Musically, I used disjointed flutes, thunder sheets, glockenspiel, harps, creepy choirs and fluttering woodwinds. All the hallmarks of magical doings! For the ambience, I created the sounds of vines growing, loamy earth shifting and various clicky clacky insects flitting about.
As this track is on sneak-peek mode for patrons (live on the site next week), I've included 2 mixed versions (one has a subtle water element added). I've also included a 2 ambience-only versions (one with water), and a music-only version which I hope will add a bit of magical intrigue to any scene. I hope you find these useful.
Thank you all, as always, for your continuing support.
Best,
Tim
