Greetings Patrons,
Many years ago, I was on a tour of South East Asia with a youth orchestra where we visited one of the floating markets in Thailand. It's probably one of the most touristy things you can do there, but there's a good reason for it. It remains one of my most vivid memories of the tour.
I was thinking about this trip recently and thought that it would make a wonderful scene that works well across multiple genres. It's easily adapted to fantasy, could be a water-world like sci-fi planet, or simply modern-day Thailand.
Musically, I kept this purposefully between cultures. It's mostly plucked acoustic instruments and chimes. I avoided anything that placed it too heavily in a specific culture with the hopes of increasing its utility. It's a fairly upbeat piece rhythmically, but quite ambient as well.
As this is in patron-only sneak-peek mode, I'm including the mixed-track, the ambience-only track, and the music-only track here, for patrons.
Thank you all, as always, for your continuing support.
Best,
Tim
