New Ambience: Oasis City

I love outposts as story telling settings. Settlements in the middle of nowhere, forged by access to a single resource, or by proximity to something strategic. Deep Space Nine's wormhole to the delta quadrant, The Thing's polar research station, whaling towns, religious missions, temples in the jungle.
Outposts can often be crossroads. Places that attract a wide variety of visitors looking to trade goods, culture and information. It's exactly this type of outpost that a city built near an oasis becomes.
Obviously I'm looking at this from a fictional, and highly romanticized quasi-Arabian viewpoint. This is a fantasy city which can co-exist in more historical context,as long as you don't require too much accuracy. It's a bustling town center, full of vendors, merchants and tradesmen.
I've attached 3 alternate versions here, for patrons. A music-only version, an ambience-only version, and a music-only w/o percussion, which gives it a slightly calmer, lilting vibe.

This is an amazingly beautiful piece. I don't have anywhere to place it yet, but I certainly will if/when I begin running my fantasy campaign! I hope you include vocals in more tracks going forward.

I have one tiny general request; can you post ALL the tracks in the Patreon post (including the main one from the website); it just ensures I've got them all when I download them for my game - otherwise with 3 alternative tracks I get mixed up!

2021-10-20 17:11:41 +0000 UTCI always LOVE desert-themed tracks, and this is the best yet! Here's something I've always wondered with synthesized music: How do vocals work in music like this? Did you synthesize those female vocals, or hire a singer to do them?
