Greetings Patrons,
I stumbled into the idea for this ambience based on a request for a mountain-top shrine. I began with a web search for fantasy gods and started scrolling through a very long list. I eventually settled on Talos, the god of storms and destruction.
Having played Skyrim years (and years) ago, I vaguely remembered a Talos from that world, but the D&D Talos is quite different. Suffice to say, this is an ambience about power that maybe you shouldn't be messing with, and stormy weather.
I've attached 3 versions of this track here for Patrons. It was going to be just 2, but as I listened back to the ambience-only version (spoiler: there's an occasional temple bell) I just knew that someone would ask for an ambience-only without it. To be fair, even though I like it as is, without the bell it gains slightly more utility as a generic stormy mountain top.
Musically, this is about power, darkness, and a bit of chaos. Very much like Talos himself.
Thank you all, as always, for your continuing support.
Best,
Tim
