New Ambience: Lush World

I don't play video games much, but I managed to get some time on No Man's Sky last weekend and really enjoyed it. I especially liked the way the music added to the sense of wonder and exploration. It sounded generative/procedural to me - but in a good way. Something Eno would have been happy with.
I started this track with the music first. Super minimalist, a single evolving and gently modulating tone to which I added other musical elements. Of course it got to the point where I had added too much, so then began the process of stripping things away until it felt right again.
The whole time I was working on it I kept imagining myself on some kind of lush alien world so the ambience portion of it is equally minimal. Breeze, water, a bit of fauna. This is for stories of wonder and peace. Definitely fantasy, but that doesn't mean it can't be space fantasy.
