Greetings Patrons,
As many of you know, I'm in the middle of my 2 week stint as a strings coach at chamber music camp. It's the time of year where I get to 'play teacher', and every year when camp is over, I renew my appreciation of those of you who do this full time!
I've been working on Tabletop Audio in the evenings and yesterday I got to spend some real time putting the final touches on this new track, Barren Wastes. My hope is that this track will work well across many different genres and styles of games. I can see this being used in fantasy, sci-fi and horror games. The occasional creaking limbs and blowing rock could easily double as an arctic environment as well.
Musically, I tried to keep it just shy of creepy. I was just going for distant and lonely and I think I got the right balance eventually. I've included two additional tracks here for patrons, one is pure environment without music. The second bonus track is just the music should you want to impart a sense of solitude on top of something totally different. By itself it's a pretty decent horror/sci-fi soundtrack.
I'm working on a pure musical track at the moment which I'll finish up this week.
Thank you, as always, for your continuing support.
Best,
Tim
