New Ambience: Neon Drive

This is something that I've been working on, scrapping, coming back to..rinse and repeat.
I wanted to do a dark cyberpunk action track - something both driving and slightly unsettling at the same time. I finally wrangled this 10 minute behemoth which I called Neon Drive, into something that I felt I could release.
The above photo, kindly donated to me by Vladimir Petkovic, gave me all the inspiration i needed. High tech, filthy and modified. This is the future that William Gibson, Philip K. Dick and others created as a warning to the human race. A collapse of social order, coupled with unchecked advances in technology and artificial intelligence could lead to a future in which humanity, must struggle with it's own creations for control.
As dire as that sounds, it sure makes a great setting for playing games and telling stories though!
Since this is a pure music track (no environmental sounds) I've included a higher res version of the mp3 than appears on the site as a patron only bonus.

As a huge fan of dystopian future settings, I really think this captures the exigence of techno-shock -- or as I like to call it, the calm before the apocalypse. I think I'll use this as a primer for my Cyberpunk and Rifts campaigns.
