Custom SoundPad: Frequency Timer Preview

Greetings Patrons,

I wanted to share with you the latest version of Custom SoundPad that I've been working on for several weeks. I was hoping to be able to get this off to you in time for the weekend. This is a preview for patrons only and has it's own temporary URL (link below), so if you don't mind, please share with friends family and small gaming groups, but not with the Internet at large.

I've done quite a bit of testing on this so the bugs should be mostly gone. I stress mostly! If this survives your poking I'll move this into production and it will become the new Custom SoundPad. I've got a few tweaks still on my end but nothing too big. 

This should work fine with older saved SoundPads and scenes but if you want to add frequency information to them you should save them with different names just to be safe.

New Features:

- Most sounds now have the ability to be played on a frequency timer. The sounds that aren't frequency enabled are usually the seamlessly looped background type sounds i.e. rain and wind, and certain tones, that would sound bad when stopped abruptly. all x4 and x2 sounds are frequency enabled as well as most event sounds. Of the 600 available sounds I'd say only about 100 are not frequency enabled.

- Scene saving is much more sane now. If you have a saved SoundPad and add new sounds to it, and then use those sounds in a new scene, the new sounds are automatically saved with the SoundPad and the scene. In the current version, the scene was saved, but the sounds were not. 

- Maximum sounds per SoundPad has been increased to 40 from 36. This is mostly a mobile limitation.

- The Get Link feature now contains sounds, scenes and frequency information. Use this to share and back up your soundpads.

- Lots of other under-the-hood tweaks that I probably should have noticed by now!
