New Ambience: Floating Ice Castle

I feel like I often start these posts with a New York City weather complaint. Today is no different!
August in Brooklyn is tropical and humid in the not good way. So much so, that I've been dreaming about all manner of cool things. Ice cream, arctic winds, snow drifts, you get the picture. As my work is of the escapist variety, I decided that I would venture off into the sonic world of cool. I started with some ice sounds, some cool wind sounds, some icy synth patches and ended up in fantasy land.
This was one of those tracks where I had a basic idea but not a fully fledged vision. It wasn't until I was half way through that I realized what I was making. And so, here is the result of that meandering sound design, Floating Ice Castle.
Whether you're setting a game among the clouds or you just need a chilly terrestrial structure this should suit you just fine. I classified it as ambience as the music is really all just effects and not particularly tonal. I hope you find this one useful.
